Decentralized trading - in testing

DeFi Smart Vault

MetaMask-controlled vault trading through verified smart-contract permissions and official Uniswap routing, without handing the wallet to the Box.

In testing

The DeFi Smart Vault keeps ownership with the customer. MetaMask controls the owner key, the customer-owned vault holds assets, and a verified smart contract grants the Box only the narrow operator permissions needed for configured trading. Swaps route through the official Uniswap router and purchased tokens return directly to the vault.

What it contributes

A focused capability inside the larger system

Owner-controlled vault

The customer retains the owner key in MetaMask and can revoke operator access.

Permissioned smart contract

The Box receives narrowly scoped trading authority rather than general wallet control.

Official Uniswap routing

Validated swaps call the official router and settle back into the customer vault.

How it works

A visible path from intent to outcome

  1. 01

    Create vault

Deploy and verify a customer-owned smart vault.

  2. 02

    Set permissions

Authorize the Box with explicit caps, assets, and trading limits.

  3. 03

    Validate

Test quote, allowance, slippage, and route behavior on Base Sepolia.

  4. 04

    Trade

Submit permitted Uniswap swaps and return assets to the vault.

Controls and boundaries

Automation with a defined operating envelope

  • Currently in controlled testing rather than general live availability.
  • Owner and operator roles remain separate.
  • Smart-contract caps, slippage, and daily limits constrain operation.
