DeFi / Customer-owned automation
Put your trading strategy to work while ownership stays with you. The Black Box at home acts as your authorized trading operator.
See how it worksSmart Vault: controlled testing. This is an introduction to the DeFi architecture and trading modes. Availability depends on supported networks, integrations, and release readiness.
01 / From your wallet to your strategy
DeFi means trading through blockchain-based protocols. The Smart Vault connects that market access to an automated operator on hardware you own.
Your wallet establishes your ownership of the trading vault. Trading authority and vault ownership are separate roles.
Specify the assets and amount you want available for trading, then fund your vault through the supported setup flow.
The box at home uses its local operator key to carry out permitted trades under the vault's configured rules.
Review execution and holdings as your selected approach runs. Transactions depend on network conditions and available liquidity.
02 / Deliberate allocation
You specify the funds committed to trading. The vault provides a distinct place for that allocation, so you can understand what your automation is working with.
Your box acts on the vault's authorized trading funds. Owning the vault remains your role; running the permitted trades is the box's role.
Trading funds can lose value. An allocation sets the amount you commit; it does not guarantee a return or eliminate losses, fees, or network costs.
03 / Local keys. Explicit authority.
The box's private trading keys remain encrypted on your box at home. They are kept out of website and server requests. Your owner wallet retains the separate owner role.
Local keys are one part of security. Protect your owner wallet, recovery information, and box. Smart-contract, device, and market risks still apply.
04 / Automation with a purpose
The DeFi approach covers portfolio rebalancing, strategy trading, and day or frequent trading. Individual modes remain subject to supported integrations and controlled testing.
Adjust portfolio weights toward a selected allocation as prices and holdings change.
Apply defined signals and rules to decide when to enter, adjust, or exit positions.
Respond to shorter market windows with more frequent decisions. Fees, slippage, and execution risk matter more as activity increases.
